Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Experience working with children and children's events
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others including guests of all ages
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladders or equipment
- Ability to move throughout the store
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements for employment in the U.S.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children's birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities such as face painting
- Facilitate and implement party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust plans and events based on client feedback and needs
- Create backup or emergency plans for events
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Set up, break down, and clean before and after each event
- Help customers shop and find products
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- Promote and enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
- Educate customers about the Voice of Customer survey
- Assist with omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes
- Maintain merchandise recovery and store cleanliness
- Support shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
- Interact respectfully with customers and team members
- Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
- Perform daily store cleaning tasks
