Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capability to move throughout the store
  • ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
  • experience handling heavy boxes and using ladders for shelf access
  • must be able to perform physical tasks essential to the role
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
  • must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage clients by fostering a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and activities like face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
  • communicate event details with clients and store team members
  • perform administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback
  • create and execute backup or emergency plans
  • ensure client satisfaction
  • uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • assist customers with product location and solutions
  • provide a fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote and enroll customers in Rewards programs and Private Label Credit Cards
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram duties
  • maintain merchandise recovery and store presentation
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully and positively with customers and team members
  • cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities
