Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language
  • ability to evaluate and identify mechanical conditions
  • ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs
  • basic math skills to perform mathematical functions
  • ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures
  • ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices
  • ability to maintain a clean work area according to good manufacturing processes
  • good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shifts
  • must possess a current and valid driver’s license
  • basic knowledge of utility equipment, process equipment, and general parts information
  • prior parts inventory experience
  • proficient skills in data entry, email, internet, Microsoft Office software, and computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP and Maximo

  • prior parts inventory experience
  • proficient skills in data entry, email, internet, Microsoft Office software, and computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP and Maximo
  • experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • forklift certification preferred
  • a two year degree in a maintenance related field or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • dairy/food manufacturing experience preferred
  • knowledge of government and industrial regulations such as OSHA and USDA preferred

Job Duties

  • Track inventory accurately including data entry, inventory counts, and incoming/outgoing parts records
  • material receipt data entry and storage and work order staging
  • ship parts for repair and track status of repairs
  • pick-up parts from vendors by driving company truck
  • communicate effectively with co-workers, team leads, and supervisors
  • move parts by operating forklift
  • follow company’s good manufacturing and safety policies and procedures
  • maintain housekeeping in area, implement and maintain 5S standards
  • perform work in a safe manner by following safety procedures and policies, critical safety rules, and expected standard conduct
  • ensure product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and company policies
