Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language
- ability to evaluate and identify mechanical conditions
- ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs
- basic math skills to perform mathematical functions
- ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures
- ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices
- ability to maintain a clean work area according to good manufacturing processes
- good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shifts
- must possess a current and valid driver’s license
- basic knowledge of utility equipment, process equipment, and general parts information
- prior parts inventory experience
- proficient skills in data entry, email, internet, Microsoft Office software, and computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP and Maximo

- experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- forklift certification preferred
- a two year degree in a maintenance related field or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred
- dairy/food manufacturing experience preferred
- knowledge of government and industrial regulations such as OSHA and USDA preferred
Job Duties
- Track inventory accurately including data entry, inventory counts, and incoming/outgoing parts records
- material receipt data entry and storage and work order staging
- ship parts for repair and track status of repairs
- pick-up parts from vendors by driving company truck
- communicate effectively with co-workers, team leads, and supervisors
- move parts by operating forklift
- follow company’s good manufacturing and safety policies and procedures
- maintain housekeeping in area, implement and maintain 5S standards
- perform work in a safe manner by following safety procedures and policies, critical safety rules, and expected standard conduct
- ensure product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and company policies
