Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge of camera systems and control functions, including operations and basic troubleshooting of video equipment
  • Two to three years of relevant or similar work experience in audio and video telecommunication or studio equipment operation
  • Experience using camera, audio boards, control switchers, audio-visual camera equipment and cabling
  • Ability to take direction as given by the director or producer
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Good working knowledge and ability to use basic computer knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Ability to stand, sit, crouch, and hold up to 30 lbs for long periods

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Operate shoulder or fixed mounted cameras during events, keep picture in focus for live and recorded videos
  • Operate switchers and control surfaces for video playback and camera shots
  • Call camera shots and directions for camera operators
  • Run replay system for slow-motion playback of goals
  • Run scoreboard display software for games and events
  • Set up and take down audio-visual camera equipment and cabling, adjust settings including white and color balance
  • Maintain, diagnose and repair broadcast and production systems
  • Perform all other duties assigned by Event Manager or senior management
