Animal Urgent Care of Bentonville is a newly established veterinary urgent care facility dedicated to providing high-quality medical services for pets during unexpected accidents, illnesses, and injuries that often occur outside regular primary care veterinarians' hours. Located in Bentonville, this state-of-the-art clinic operates with a mission to deliver prompt and compassionate urgent care for the community's beloved pets. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm and also operates on weekends to ensure accessibility when most needed. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year veterinary receptionist experience preferred
  • availability to work weekends strongly preferred
  • ability to handle unpleasant odors and noises
  • comfortable with exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and potentially contagious diseases
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • proficiency with computer systems and scheduling software

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
  • weekend availability strongly preferred
  • compassionate and calm team-player
  • ability to multi-task
  • strong communication skills
  • highly organized and possess computer skills
  • self-starter with the desire to continue to advance knowledge and skillset

Job Duties

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • greet and welcome clients and patients
  • answer questions and triage client concerns
  • answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • check in and check out clients and process payments
  • offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
