Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of veterinary receptionist experience preferred
  • availability to work Thursdays 6 pm to 10 pm and Saturdays 5:30 pm to midnight
  • ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
  • comfortable with exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste and contagious diseases
  • strong communication skills
  • highly organized
  • basic computer proficiency
  • compassionate and discreet interaction with clients

Job Qualifications

  • Part-time receptionist for Thursday and Saturday shifts
  • experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
  • compassionate and calm team player
  • ability to multi-task
  • strong communication skills
  • highly organized and possess computer skills
  • self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset

Job Duties

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • greet and welcome clients and patients
  • answer questions and triage client concerns
  • answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • check in and check out clients and process payments
  • offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
