Priority Pet Urgent Care of Hermitage is a newly established veterinary urgent care center dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for pets in urgent need. Recognizing that pet accidents, illnesses, and injuries often occur at inconvenient times when primary veterinary offices are closed or overwhelmed, Priority Pet Urgent Care addresses this critical gap by offering extended hours seven days a week, from 2 pm to 10 pm. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience
  • ability to withstand unpleasant odors and noises
  • comfortable with various medical outcomes
  • ability to work Friday evenings and weekends
  • ability to multi-task
  • basic computer skills

  • 1-year veterinary receptionist experience preferred

Job Duties

  • maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • greet and welcome clients and patients
  • answer questions and triage client concerns
  • answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • check in and check out clients and process payments
  • offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
