Job Requirements
- At least one year previous delivery driving experience preferred
- One year in customer service or related field preferred
- Unrestricted standard operator's license required
- Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last five years
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Successfully pass pre-employment checks including drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle report
- Able to use a two-wheel cart with load weighing up to 350 pounds
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of delivery driving experience preferred
- One year of customer service or related field experience preferred
- Unrestricted standard operator's license
- Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol offenses in past five years
- Ability to use a two-wheel cart with loads weighing up to 350 pounds
- Capability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
Job Duties
- Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers
- Build and maintain good customer relationships
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries of Gordon Food Service products
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle and equipment
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale
- Receive and merchandise products accurately, including product rotation and quality control
- Execute end cap and planogram merchandising, as well as manage freezer, cooler, and backroom organization
