Job Requirements
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- current Medical Examiner's Certificate
- ability to lift and pull equipment weighing between 50 and 75 pounds
- meet English language proficiency requirements per 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2)
- reliable transportation to and from work
- pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements
- valid Medical Examiner's Certificate for interstate commerce
- ability to lift and pull equipment weighing 50 to 75 pounds
- exceptional customer service skills
- proficiency in English to meet 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2) requirements for communication and comprehension
- willingness to undergo training for required CDL endorsements if not already held
Job Duties
- Deliver fuel locally (home every night) in a safe and efficient manner
- maintain the delivery truck including reviewing maintenance records, performing inspections and reporting vehicle conditions requiring attention
- provide superior customer service
- account for funds and inventory using a handheld terminal
- comply with all safety regulations and company policies
- perform daily vehicle safety checks
- communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
