Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Ability to work up to 18 hours per week
- Must have valid, current driver’s license
- Willingness to travel using golf carts on campus
- Ability to work some nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and courteous interaction
- Passing a criminal background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets such as MS Office Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware
- Good command of English oral and written
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Precise attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality and courtesy
- Valid and current driver’s license
Job Duties
- Provide prompt, friendly service to all customers including residents, staff, faculty, parents, and guests
- Serve as summer tour guide
- Utilize customer service strategies to enhance guest satisfaction
- Be familiar with campus and community resources and services
- Present a positive image of TJC through appearance, demeanor, and attitude
- Answer desk telephone and direct calls accurately
- Report to and complete duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Housing Operations and Administrative Services
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions
- Maintain accurate records of activities and transactions during desk shifts
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
