Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Must be able to perform duties with or without accommodation
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift up to 45 pounds, carry, and walk throughout the store
- Commitment to safety procedures
- Willingness to work morning shifts (stocker)
Job Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of products and company services
- For cashiers, ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Compliance with state and local beverage sales requirements for cashiers
- For stockers, ability to operate equipment including hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Stockers must have morning availability with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- Processes customer purchases and operates registers
- Performs general cleaning duties
- Stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provides exceptional customer service and assistance
- Provides feedback to management on products, inventory, and issues
- Participates in store inventory counts
- Adheres to cash policies and procedures
- Stocks shelves and rotates products properly
- Follows merchandising planograms
- Organizes new inventory and handles empty boxes
- Operates machinery safely
- Maintains store appearance and safety
