Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to operate cash register and machinery as required
- ability to lift and carry products up to 45 pounds
- morning availability for stockers
- ability to work less than 30 hours per week
- effective communication and teamwork skills

- cashier must be able to operate cash register efficiently and accurately
- cashier must comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- stocker must be able to operate equipment safely including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- stockers must have morning availability and be able to work shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- performs general cleaning duties to company standards
- processes customer purchases accurately on cash registers
- stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- provides exceptional customer service to assist shoppers
- gives feedback to management on products, inventory losses, and scanning errors
- participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines
- adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- rotates products properly to guarantee fresh inventory
- follows merchandising planograms to create well-merchandised displays
- organizes new inventory and removes empty boxes
- operates machinery safely and follows all safety procedures
