Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 45 pounds
- Ability to work morning shifts for stocker position
- Ability to comply with cash handling and company policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with team and customers
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of company products and services
- Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Cashier: Comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- Stocker: Ability to operate equipment safely, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Stocker: Availability to work morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- Performs cashier duties including processing customer purchases and providing exceptional customer service
- Stocks shelves and merchandises displays neatly
- Provides feedback to management on products, inventory issues, and scanning errors
- Participates in store inventory counts and adheres to cash handling policies
- Rotates product properly to ensure freshness and follows merchandising planograms
- Organizes inventory and operates machinery safely according to procedures
