Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail work experience preferred
  • Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge

  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Ability to perform general cleaning duties
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
  • Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
  • Performs duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Processes customer purchases
  • Performs general cleaning duties
  • Stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
  • Provides exceptional customer service
  • Provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
  • Participates in taking store inventory counts
  • Adheres to cash policies and procedures
  • Stocks shelves and rotates product properly
  • Follows merchandising planograms
  • Organizes new inventory and removes empty boxes
  • Operates machinery safely and follows all safety procedures
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store
  • Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights
  • Ability to operate equipment such as hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
  • Must be available for morning shifts with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.
