Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of products and services of the company
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately (for cashier roles)
- Compliance with state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages (for cashier roles)
- Ability to operate equipment safely and properly, including electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers (for stocker roles)
- Morning availability for stocker positions with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- Performs cashier duties including processing purchases, general cleaning, stocking shelves, and providing customer service
- Provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- Participates in store inventory counts and monitors inventory for accuracy
- Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Stocks shelves and rotates product properly to ensure freshness
- Follows merchandising planograms to create well-merchandised displays
- Organizes new inventory and handles removal and breakdown of empty boxes
- Operates machinery following all safety procedures
- Regularly sits, stands, bends, reaches, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and walks about the store
- Handles merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds and places products on shelves at various heights
