Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store regularly
- stocker: ability to stock merchandise from receiving to shelving and lift up to 45 pounds at various heights
- must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- ability to perform general cleaning duties
- ability to interpret and apply company policies
- excellent verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently and within a team
- effective time management
- knowledge of company products and services
- cashier: ability to operate cash register efficiently
- cashier: comply with alcohol sales requirements
- stocker: ability to operate machinery safely
- stocker: morning availability to start shifts as early as 5:00 a.m.

Job Duties

- performs general cleaning duties
- stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- processes customer purchases efficiently
- provides exceptional customer service
- provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- participates in store inventory counts
- adheres to cash policies to minimize losses
- rotates product properly to ensure freshness
- follows merchandising planograms
- organizes new inventory and breaks down empty boxes
- operates machinery following safety procedures
