Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving
- ability to place product weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights
- ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications

- cashier: ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- cashier: comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- stocker: ability to operate equipment safely and properly including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- stocker: availability to work morning shifts with start times as early as 5:00 a.m
Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- performs cashier duties including processing customer purchases, general cleaning, stocking shelves and merchandising displays neatly
- provides exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience
- provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitors inventory for accuracy
- adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- stocks shelves and rotates products properly to guarantee fresh product availability
- follows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
- organizes new inventory, removes and breaks down empty boxes
- operates machinery and follows all safety procedures
