Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to lift and stock merchandise up to 45 pounds
- Ability to work fewer than 30 hours per week
- Able to comply with cash handling policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Cashier duties require ability to operate cash register efficiently and accurately
- Cashier must comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- Stocker must be able to operate equipment safely including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Stockers must have morning availability for shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- Performs cashier duties including processing customer purchases, general cleaning, stocking shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provides exceptional customer service and assists customers with their shopping experience
- Provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- Participates in store inventory counts and monitors inventory for accuracy
- Adheres to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Stocks shelves and rotates product properly to guarantee fresh product availability
- Follows merchandising planograms to create excellent merchandise displays
- Organizes new inventory, removes and breaks down empty boxes
- Operates machinery such as electric/manual hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers safely
- Follows all safety procedures while operating equipment
- Regularly performs physical activities including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store
