- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous barista hospitality or customer service experience is strongly preferred
- ability to read speak and write English clearly to interact with diverse guests and understand instructions
- basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling making change and totaling charges

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality hot and cold Starbucks beverages following established recipes and presentation standards exactly
- greet guests warmly respond to requests in a friendly and efficient manner and resolve any dissatisfaction with professional hospitality
- take guest orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system process various payments (cash credit gift cards) and upsell additional items to enhance profitability
- maintain cleanliness of work areas equipment and seating areas perform opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and securing the house bank
- requisition stock and rotate products (milk syrups beans) to ensure freshness and availability
- follow all food safety health and sanitation guidelines including checking refrigerator temperatures and following company safety procedures
