Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- At least one year related experience and/or training
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
- Physical ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work part-time hours
- Willingness to wear uniform
- Ability to accommodate flexible work schedule

- Ability to perform essential cleaning duties

Job Duties
- Maintain knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices
- Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space
- Clean and mop bathrooms as needed
- Use vacuum cleaner in carpeted areas
- Clean chalkboards and erasers as instructed
- Clean windows, blinds and drapes at regularly scheduled times
- Assemble and dispose of all trash on a daily basis
- Clean and dust all furniture at a scheduled time
- Be available to come to work at odd times if needed
- Wear uniform daily as provided by Hinds Community College
- Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate authority
