Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
  • Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Must currently possess and maintain the necessary State Food Handler's License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s) - or the ability to acquire within state mandated time frame upon hire
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and written in English

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age to mix and serve cocktails and cover bartending
  • Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
  • Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
  • Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • Must currently possess and maintain the necessary State Food Handler's License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s) - or the ability to acquire within state mandated time frame upon hire
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and written in English

Job Duties

  • Takes orders noting any dietary/allergy restrictions and serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
  • Greets and seats guests providing a welcoming dining experience
  • Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings including menu changes and sold-out items
  • Enters orders into computerized Point of Sale system and communicates any special requests to the culinary team
  • Assembles food items such as appetizers salads and soups
  • Ensures attractive consistent presentation of food and beverages
  • Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
  • Processes guest payments using proper accounting and cash handling procedures
  • Keeps work area including guest dining area clean and organized
  • Supports all pre-opening and closing duties including set up of dining area cleaning and sanitizing clearing and resetting tables restocking supplies securing equipment cash reconciliation and final area inspection
  • Stocks and prepares stations including refilling condiments napkins silverware glassware and side stations
  • Food preparation and handling as needed
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals
