Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience
- Valid food handler and alcohol awareness certifications if required
- Ability to multi-task efficiently in dynamic settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Competency with POS systems or ability to learn
- Precise money handling and billing abilities
- Motivation to deliver exceptional guest service
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in a similar or supportive role preferred
- Food handler certification and alcohol awareness certification if applicable
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong retention and presentation skills of product and menu knowledge
- Proficient or willing to learn restaurant POS system
- Accurate calculation and handling of bills and payments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion for creating personalized guest experiences
- Highly motivated, flexible, and proactive attitude
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide support and assistance to team while maintaining clean and safe work areas
- Greet and welcome guests and promptly attend to tables
- Receive and process guest orders accurately using POS system
- Prepare and serve meal accompaniments
- Maintain product knowledge of food, wine, and beverage menus
- Ensure guests have enjoyable and memorable experiences and escalate complaints
- Perform sidework including setup and breakdown of stations
- Open bottled wine for guests
- Assist with table setting, bussing, take-to-go orders, seating, and answering phones
- Attend company and restaurant trainings and meetings
- Maintain constant communication with support staff and management
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as required
