Job Requirements
- Exposure to restaurant operations or the ability to learn
- Age over 18 years or proper work permit and authorization documentation
- Background clearances as required by government regulations
- Complete a health screening and provide negative TB test results within last 6 months or within 7 days of employment
- Ability to operate standard serving equipment
- Basic counting skills
- Good communication skills including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Mindfulness regarding the use of resources and supplies to minimize waste
- Ability to deal tactfully and professionally with residents and team members
- Complete dining room training with CCG
- Must meet and maintain all state specific regulatory requirements
- Must be mobile and able to perform physical requirements such as standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting over 40 lbs

- Ability to deal tactfully and professionally at all times with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and vendors
- Successful completion of dining room training course with CCG
- Basic counting skills required for tracking meals and residents
Job Duties
- Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members and visitors in a professional, efficient and courteous manner
- Assist residents with meal and menu selections as necessary or requested
- Use proper etiquette and manners while waiting tables courteously and professionally
- Review residents dietary needs as outlined by supervisor
- Track resident attendance at meals and provide information to appropriate person
- Ensure all residents are greeted and seated properly, making efforts to integrate new residents
- Ensure a clean sanitary dining area and comply with food handling policies and procedures
- Display tact and friendliness when dealing with residents, team members, and guests
- Aid in community marketing efforts through positive interactions and adherence to grooming standards
- Serve, clean, reset tables, and return dishes to kitchen
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or executive director
- Clean and set up dining and food service areas including stocking condiments
- Cooperate with kitchen and dining services to ensure positive dining experience
- Report safety or equipment issues to supervisor
