Job Requirements

  • Previous food service experience is preferred
  • experience working with a POS system is beneficial
  • proficiency in English both written and verbal
  • ability to obtain a food handler certification
  • flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, including holidays
  • ability to stand and walk up to 90 percent of the workday
  • frequent bending, stooping, and stretching required
  • ability to lift, carry, push, and hold up to 50 pounds
  • successful completion of background check and drug testing

Job Qualifications

  • ability to work flexible schedules including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Welcome and seat residents and guests in the dining area when no host is available
  • guide guests through their dining experience, maintaining full knowledge of the menu and preparation methods
  • follow the food and beverage sequence of service as outlined by management
  • set and reset tables before, during, and after service, ensuring all silverware, glassware, and napkins are clean and polished
  • clear and clean tables as needed during service to maintain a tidy environment
  • assist in running food and beverages to tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • complete opening and closing duties including dining area setup and side work
  • address spills and broken glassware or dishes immediately to maintain safety
  • clean all equipment and supplies following company and health guidelines
  • collaborate with management and staff to address guest needs and ensure smooth service
  • maintain a positive and respectful attitude toward team members and guests
  • perform additional related tasks as required by management
