Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Open availability for rotating shifts including weekends
- Ability to follow established food safety and hygiene policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Physical ability to perform duties including standing and carrying trays
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and health standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- High school students with open availability encouraged to apply
- ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in the certification course preferred
- Previous food handling experience preferred
Job Duties
- Provides dining service to residents, guests and family members as needed
- Maintains or exceeds standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
- Maintains all side stations and dining areas using the clean as you go policy
- Follows all policies and procedures relating to food service to meet or exceed community standards
- Assures timely meal delivery and plate preparation
- Sets up and cleans dining room areas
- Provides tray delivery to assisted living and skilled care residents
