Job Requirements
- Previous food service experience is preferred
- experience working with a POS system is beneficial
- proficiency in English both written and verbal is required
- a Food Handler certification or the ability to obtain one is required
- must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends including Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays as needed
- physical ability to stand and walk for up to 90 percent of the workday
- ability to lift, carry, push, and hold up to 50 pounds
- must successfully complete background check and drug testing as part of the hiring process

Job Duties
- Welcome and seat residents and guests in the dining area when no host is available
- guide guests through their dining experience, maintaining full knowledge of the menu and preparation methods
- follow the Food & Beverage sequence of service ensuring proper procedures are consistently adhered to
- set and reset tables before, during, and after service ensuring all silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins are clean and polished
- clear and clean tables as needed during service, removing used dishes and glassware
- assist in running food and beverages to tables ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- complete opening and closing duties including setting up and breaking down the dining area and performing side work throughout the shift
- address spills and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary to maintain safety
- clean all equipment, tools, and supplies ensuring they are in good working order following company policies and local health department guidelines
- collaborate with management, fellow servers, and staff to address guest needs, resolve any issues, and ensure smooth service
- maintain a positive, respectful, and enthusiastic attitude toward all team members and guests always
- perform other related tasks as required by management
