- Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position
- food service and/or hospitality experience preferred
- be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions
- able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public
- capable of working with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility
- communicate in a manner sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, team members, residents, and families

Job Duties
- Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
- serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
- distribute and collect menus as necessary
- take meal orders, serve food and beverages, and answer questions regarding the menu
- follow sanitary regulations at all times
- provide Platinum Service with each dining experience
- set up meal trays, food carts and set up the dining room with utensils, salt and pepper, napkins, and clean common areas prior and after meals are served
