Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Accurately and efficiently operate self-checkout stations and cash registers
- Maintain security and control of all funds in the cash register
- Greet customers cheerfully and provide genuine, clear, and enthusiastic service
- Assist customers with scanning items and using the self-checkout system
- Follow company procedures for handling VIC cards and promotions
- Ensure compliance with state and local ABC and tobacco laws
- Monitor sales floor and invite customers to use self-checkout
- Bag groceries carefully according to customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding requests and promotions
- Complete mandatory training and comply with company policies
- Adapt to various situations and assist fellow associates as needed
- Follow health and safety regulations and report any hazards
- Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions
