Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
  • Accurately and efficiently operate self-checkout stations and cash registers
  • Maintain security and control of all funds in the cash register
  • Greet customers cheerfully and provide genuine, clear, and enthusiastic service
  • Assist customers with scanning items and using the self-checkout system
  • Follow company procedures for handling VIC cards and promotions
  • Ensure compliance with state and local ABC and tobacco laws
  • Monitor sales floor and invite customers to use self-checkout
  • Bag groceries carefully according to customer preferences
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding requests and promotions
  • Complete mandatory training and comply with company policies
  • Adapt to various situations and assist fellow associates as needed
  • Follow health and safety regulations and report any hazards
  • Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions
