Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or certificate of high school equivalency
  • Two to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate before SIC duties
  • Appropriate category, class, and instrument ratings
  • Minimum of 450 hours of flight experience
  • Fluency in English including speaking, understanding, reading, and writing
  • Physical ability to perform simulator control functions
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
  • Willingness to comply with FlightSafety International's Quality Management Systems
  • Ability to communicate professionally and adapt to dynamic schedules

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category, class, and instrument ratings
  • Minimum of 450 flight hours
  • Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent cockpit communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and high-pressure environments

Job Duties

  • Act as second-in-command for clients training in multi-crew aircraft without a flying partner
  • Maintain SIC pilot qualification according to assigned program requirements
  • Comply with FlightSafety International's Quality Management Systems processes and procedures
  • Keep all certificates, ratings, and designations current to perform SIC duties
  • Act as SIC in various aircraft types for Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA clients as needed
