Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous experience of three months or longer in a similar position
- Basic knowledge of customer service principles
- Knowledge of standard cash-handling procedures
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Vision ability to see detailed guest checks and instructions
- Manual coordination to handle food trays and equipment
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand continuously during service
- Moderate hearing to communicate with customers and staff
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow instructions
- Tact and understanding when dealing with customer issues
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar food service position of three months or longer
- Basic knowledge of customer service principles
- Understanding of restaurant and kitchen operations
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Ability to memorize menu items and daily specials
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Professional and courteous demeanor
Job Duties
- Greeting customers and taking food and drink orders
- Serving food and beverages promptly
- Accommodating special customer needs and requests
- Maintaining attentiveness throughout the dining experience
- Completing opening and closing sidework duties
- Memorizing menu items, recipes, and daily specials
- Ensuring cleanliness standards in restaurant and service areas
- Handling guest checks and processing payments accurately
- Participating in pre-meal and departmental meetings
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing quality service
- Presenting a friendly and professional appearance
- Performing other duties as assigned
