Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous experience of three months or longer in a similar position
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles
  • Knowledge of standard cash-handling procedures
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Vision ability to see detailed guest checks and instructions
  • Manual coordination to handle food trays and equipment
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand continuously during service
  • Moderate hearing to communicate with customers and staff
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow instructions
  • Tact and understanding when dealing with customer issues

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar food service position of three months or longer
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles
  • Understanding of restaurant and kitchen operations
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Ability to memorize menu items and daily specials
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Professional and courteous demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greeting customers and taking food and drink orders
  • Serving food and beverages promptly
  • Accommodating special customer needs and requests
  • Maintaining attentiveness throughout the dining experience
  • Completing opening and closing sidework duties
  • Memorizing menu items, recipes, and daily specials
  • Ensuring cleanliness standards in restaurant and service areas
  • Handling guest checks and processing payments accurately
  • Participating in pre-meal and departmental meetings
  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing quality service
  • Presenting a friendly and professional appearance
  • Performing other duties as assigned
