Job Requirements

  • At least six months of food service experience
  • preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
  • excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
  • strong time management skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 lbs
  • US work authorization required

  • ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests

Job Duties

  • Pick up food items from kitchen
  • check order for accuracy and quality before delivering and serve guest
  • promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silverware for service in a discreet manner
  • anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service
  • assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
  • breakdown, clean and set-up side stations and back of house areas
