Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED, or current high school enrollment
  • Obtain CPR certification within six months of hire
  • Meet city credit report guidelines
  • Hold a valid state driver’s license
  • Knowledge of basic math principles
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, work orders, and equipment manuals
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely to and from facilities and events
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in high school
  • CPR certification obtained within six months of hire
  • Knowledge of basic math principles
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, work orders, and equipment manuals
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Effective and courteous communication skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Assist in implementing recreational programs, athletic events, and special activities
  • Set up and break down equipment for events
  • Perform cash handling duties during event registration or scheduled activities
  • Work varied hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments
  • Collect trash and debris before, during, and after events, including at baseball/softball facilities
  • Clean facilities as required or assigned
  • Maintain and properly use equipment during daily work assignments
