- proven work experience as a receptionist, front office representative or similar role
- proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., computers, copiers, and printers)

- excellent organizational skills

Job Duties
- Open/close facility daily and activate electronic messaging boards
- greet and welcome visitors upon arrival at the front desk and connect with appropriate personnel or department
- maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor visitor sign-in logbook, issue visitor badges)
- answer, screen, and redirect incoming phone calls
- provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- process online/in-person customer fare media orders
- issue parking permits and log sales
- maintain log of lost and found items and call/send letters to item owners
- receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail/deliveries
- process outgoing mail orders and UPS/FEDEX packages
- enter customer service department purchase requisitions
- maintain tidy and presentable reception area/mailroom
- order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- send out requested customer response letters
- process requests for Senior/Disabled IDs, employment applications, Call-A-Bus applications, schedules, etc.
- enter customer complaints and commendations into database
- maintain office calendar indicating who is in/out of the office, where they can be reached, and when they are expected to return
- perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, mail correspondence and emails
- maintain company phone list
- perform other administrative tasks as assigned
