Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate office equipment such as copier, scanner, and fax machines
  • Basic computer skills including email management
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations

Job Duties

  • Acknowledge all visitors, family members, residents with friendly and helpful demeanor
  • Answer telephones and transfer calls to respective departments
  • Display excellent customer service skills in all interactions with residents, visitors, and staff members
  • Escort people, if necessary, to resident rooms and other areas
  • Promote positive public image through professional appearance, positive attitude, and interactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of lobby and reception areas
  • Contact nursing staff if a resident has any nursing needs
  • Assist with mail sorting for residents and facility
  • Operate copier, scanner, and fax machines
  • Send and receive emails
  • Schedule transportation requests for facility van for resident appointments
  • Create various types of documents for daily functions
