Job Requirements

  • One or more years of previous experience as a customer service representative preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
  • Ability to work well in a process driven environment
  • Outstanding communication skills in both verbal and written
  • All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug testing

Job Duties

  • Greets customers, obtaining all pertinent customer, vehicle and insurance information
  • Introduces customer to estimator on a rotating basis
  • Ensures that each customer is informed of the details or repair, including scheduling time and procedures, labor rate differences, insurance company requirements, payment procedures and all applicable warranties
  • Assist estimators in scheduling appointments for incoming jobs
  • Maintain an appointment log to ensure accurate appointment scheduling
  • Maintain regular customer contact prior to appointment date and time
  • Ensure that all necessary parts have arrived on day prior to appointment
  • Monitor status of each job in process
  • Follow up with each customer every 48 hours or as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Document pertinent information regarding repairs and conversations with customers in Car Trac system
  • Assist customers with insurance questions and issues and resolve when possible
