Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proficiency in typing at least 40 words per minute
  • experience operating common office equipment
  • computer literacy including basic office software and Kronos system
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • ability to maintain professional demeanor and appearance
  • dependable evening availability Monday through Friday

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • typing skills of 40 wpm or more
  • working knowledge of common office machines including calculator, copy machine, facsimile and typewriter
  • computer skills and familiarity with Kronos
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to read, write, and speak English

Job Duties

  • Dress and act in professional manner
  • answer telephone and receive or deliver telephone messages
  • greet visitors and direct them to the proper area
  • pull daily hours from the Kronos system and report labor to corporate office
  • prepare and type correspondence for Administrator and or department heads
  • establish and maintain effective filing systems
  • compile and prepare reports, agendas and schedules as appropriate
  • maintain office supply inventories according to Facility budget
  • process, copy and submit invoices for payment to Home Office
  • distribute mail
  • complete employee paperwork and maintain personnel files
  • enforce clinical policies related to abuse prevention
  • complete other tasks assigned by Administrator, regional or corporate management
  • attend weekly in-services and comply with Patient Care Management Systems
  • assure patient and resident safety
  • perform other assigned duties and tasks
