Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for entire work shift
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift 1 to 5 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 32 pounds, rarely 50 pounds
  • Fine motor coordination and depth perception
  • Ability to hear equipment from a distance
  • Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • One or more years experience in customer or patient-facing roles

Job Duties

  • Answer phones and greet all visitors promptly exhibiting customer service skills
  • Assist donors with appointments and create or pull donor record files
  • Provide customer service to donors and fellow employees
  • Maintain orderly filing system and purge records
  • Report to the center management team to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Initiate changes to center processes through company approved procedures
