Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent highly preferred
  • experience with Microsoft Office
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • ability to walk continuously, bend frequently, and sit occasionally
  • ability to complete and maintain documentation regarding a resident’s status
  • ability to operate computer systems and phone systems
  • must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis

Job Duties

  • Answering phones and transferring calls to the appropriate person
  • greets all visitors and guests and directs them to the appropriate person or area if they need assistance
  • distribute mail to residents and staff the same day it is received
  • copying documents for department heads
  • typing up documents for management team and Executive Director
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • attend and participate in staff meetings, projects, special events, committees, and mandatory training as appropriate
  • maintain safety and health rules by participating in training and following protocols related to OSHA, CDC, and Cardinal Senior Living Standards
  • promote and encourage individualized resident independence while maintaining resident dignity, confidentiality, and following infection control policies
  • work as a member of a team to provide essential services and use effective communication skills
  • follow all applicable state regulations
