Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, and families
- Ability to work in surroundings with degree of dust, noise, odors, etc. without undue discomfort
- Ability to read, write and interpret documents
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time to perform job functions
- Occasionally required to assist in moving patients and equipment
- Some moderate to heavy lifting
- Must be available for mostly evening shifts
- Must be willing to travel to other sites
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Effective communication skills with co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, and families
- Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, and odors
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents
- Ability to sit and stand for long periods
- Experience in customer service or healthcare support preferred
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy or medical terminology preferred
Job Duties
- Assist in the delivery of physical and occupational therapy services
- Support therapists as directed
- Maintain the environment of care
- Greet and interact with patients, therapists, and registrars
- Ensure smooth patient flow and customer satisfaction
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and treatment areas
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks
- Assist in moving patients and equipment
