Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, and families
  • Ability to work in surroundings with degree of dust, noise, odors, etc. without undue discomfort
  • Ability to read, write and interpret documents
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time to perform job functions
  • Occasionally required to assist in moving patients and equipment
  • Some moderate to heavy lifting
  • Must be available for mostly evening shifts
  • Must be willing to travel to other sites

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Effective communication skills with co-workers, patients, physicians, visitors, and families
  • Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, and odors
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods
  • Experience in customer service or healthcare support preferred
  • Basic knowledge of physical therapy or medical terminology preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in the delivery of physical and occupational therapy services
  • Support therapists as directed
  • Maintain the environment of care
  • Greet and interact with patients, therapists, and registrars
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain supplies, equipment, and treatment areas
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks
  • Assist in moving patients and equipment
