Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience preferably in private chef or high-end restaurant settings
  • ability to work part-time with flexible scheduling including Mondays and additional weekdays
  • knowledge of kosher kitchen practices and dietary laws
  • experience accommodating specific food allergies and dietary restrictions
  • must pass a test cook as part of the hiring process
  • valid work authorization for employment in the united states
  • strong communication skills and ability to maintain discretion
  • reliable transportation to and from the private residence in Tarzana

Job Duties

  • follow a weekly schedule provided on Sundays with in-home cooking required every Monday for weekly lunch and dinner
  • cook in the home 2 to 3 days per week leaving prepared meals for scheduled off days
  • prepare meal in a kosher kitchen with careful attention to dietary preferences and food safety
  • accommodate independent household diets ensuring balanced meal variety
  • prepare all meals dairy-free and avoid fish shellfish almonds and spinach due to allergies
  • prepare chicken-based meals exclusively for Mrs. only ensuring proper doneness and consistency
  • design menus focused on Italian Mediterranean and Asian cuisine with openness to other cuisines
  • adapt to a household that frequently dines out maintaining flexibility and efficiency
