Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Previous porter or floor technician experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to professionally interact with residents, coworkers, and housekeeping team members
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Must have reliable transportation to work and be punctual

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping in all common areas including lobby, library, harbor lounge card room, restrooms, swimming pool and exercise room, arts and crafts room, anchor room, administrative offices, bank, beauty shop, elevators, employee lounge area, storage rooms, compactor rooms, hallways and sidewalks outside of each entranceway
- Clean doors, windows, glass, light fixtures, hand railings, pictures, mirrors, brass and stainless steel
- Vacuum and sweep floors, dust furniture, walls, and woodwork in common areas
- Extract carpets and clean carpets when necessary
- Inspect building on daily rounds and report unusual findings to supervisor
- Accomplish work in the order of priority established by Housekeeping Supervisor
- Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor
