Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 100+ lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and on-call
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures

Job Duties

  • Assist with carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
  • Perform cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas
  • Respond to resident and management requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify and correct hazards and liabilities
  • Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program to extend community asset life
  • Maintain a well-organized and stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety and OSHA standards
  • Participate in unit inspections and report violations of community rules
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request responsiveness
  • Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisors
  • Participate in on-call emergency duties at the community
