Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills including understanding on-site software functions
  • Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Regular and daily onsite attendance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including moving over 100 lbs
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Basic knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and management
  • Ability to perform manual labor and operate maintenance tools and equipment
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours when necessary

Job Duties

  • Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
  • Participate in the make-ready process consistent with property operational objectives
  • Attend onsite regularly and daily
  • Clean, remove trash, and maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas
  • Respond to resident and management requests and work orders in a timely manner
  • Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions
  • Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program
  • Maintain a well-organized and stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety standards
  • Participate in unit inspections
  • Report violations of community rules to supervisors
  • Use property resources and equipment economically
  • Participate in on-call emergency duties
  • Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request responsiveness
  • Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisors
