Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills including understanding on-site software functions
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Regular and daily onsite attendance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including moving over 100 lbs
- Ability to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and be on-call for emergencies
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills including understanding on-site software functions
- Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Basic knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and management
- Ability to perform manual labor and operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours when necessary
Job Duties
- Assist in carrying out maintenance processes including corrective, preventative, routine, and cosmetic maintenance
- Participate in the make-ready process consistent with property operational objectives
- Attend onsite regularly and daily
- Clean, remove trash, and maintain grounds, buildings, breezeways, and community common areas
- Respond to resident and management requests and work orders in a timely manner
- Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify and correct hazardous conditions
- Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance program
- Maintain a well-organized and stocked maintenance shop adhering to safety standards
- Participate in unit inspections
- Report violations of community rules to supervisors
- Use property resources and equipment economically
- Participate in on-call emergency duties
- Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request responsiveness
- Enforce community policies as delegated by supervisors
