Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 75 pounds with assistance
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to complete new hire orientation and subsequent training
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be bondable
- Adherence to company grooming and dress codes
- Reliable attendance and punctuality with advance communication of absences
- Ability to comply with health and safety standards
- Capable of multitasking and adapting to changing work environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles advantageous but not required
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, and discount calculations
- Valid Driver's License and must be bondable
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply common sense reasoning
- Capability to operate Point of Sale systems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo company training programs including customer service and safety
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor
Job Duties
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards customers
- Follow through on customer requests and escalate to management when necessary
- Ensure focused attention on customers during all interactions including bagging and loading orders
- Download, shop, stage, and load internet orders accurately following company policies
- Operate Point of Sale registers and assist as a cashier or bagger during downtime
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers, associates, and management regarding orders, store promotions, and any issues
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining store safety
- Adapt to shifting priorities and support team members to fulfill store operations
- Adhere to company grooming and dressing policies to present a professional image
