Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in pastry or baking preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety protocols
  • Good communication skills
  • Availability to work part time
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment

Job Duties

  • Review production sheet to understand variety of baked goods to be produced
  • Prepare and cook baked goods according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food prep checklists
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance internally and with the State
  • Fulfill special requests involving food allergies, dietary restrictions and special occasions
  • Prevent and correct imperfections and blemishes in baked goods
  • Communicate with other departments and hotel team to ensure alignment and consistency
  • Report and work with other positions to correct any issues
