Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Previous experience in security or safety roles preferred
- Basic knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
Job Qualifications
- Previous security experience preferred
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws about the activities of security personnel including OSHA, Hazardous Communications, and Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control preferred
- CPR/AED/First Aid training certification preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to react appropriately to stressful situations while demonstrating integrity and professionalism
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
Job Duties
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points
- Ensure all paper and electronic logs are consistent, accurate, and up-to-date
- Assist departmental managers in completing and processing incident reports
- Lead with hospitality to resolve and diffuse conflicts that may arise
- Complete departmental checklists as assigned
- Lock event spaces and meeting rooms as directed
- Log and process all lost and found items
- Attempt to limit issues and liability related to excessive drinking by having an awareness of signs of intoxication, and taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety of our guests
- Ensure immediate response is given to guest comments and concerns
- inform the manager on duty and apply corrective measures when necessary
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good, safe working condition
- Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the property and keep abreast of safety and emergency procedures and OSHA requirements
- This is an overnight shift
