Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- acceptable DMV record with no accidents in past three years
- no more than two tickets in past three years
- no DUIs in the past seven years
- availability to work Monday through Friday mornings
- physically capable of lifting 50 pounds repeatedly
- ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions
- willingness to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
- must be patient, tactful, and cheerful when interacting with the public
Job Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly
- physical stamina for labor-intensive work
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- strong communication skills for assisting patrons
- organizational skills for sorting and maintaining collections
- basic understanding of safety protocols
- prior customer service experience is ideal
Job Duties
- Maintain two Drop Spot locations by regular site visits
- pick up any items left outside the bins
- empty collection bins inside the containers
- fill carts with sorted clothing and shoes
- keep the site free of debris or loose clothing
- distribute flyers to promote the drop spots
- assist patrons with patience and enthusiasm
- clean or paint over graffiti
- monitor surveillance cameras at assigned Drop Spots
