Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have an acceptable DMV record with no accidents in the past three years, no more than two tickets in past three years, and no DUIs in past seven years
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be physically capable of repeatedly lifting 50 pounds or more
- Ability to read and comprehend memos, reports, instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Prepared for highly labor-intensive work involving continuous physical exertion including lifting, bending, twisting, and prolonged standing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service or public interaction
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a public-facing role
- Previous experience in maintaining outdoor facilities or collection sites preferred
Job Duties
- Travel to additional Drop Spot sites as needed
- Sort clothing and shoes separately
- Organize collections in carts inside Drop Spots
- Keep site clear of debris and clothing left around
- Distribute flyers to promote Drop Spots
- Assist patrons with patience and cheerful disposition
- Clean off or paint over graffiti
- Monitor surveillance cameras of assigned Drop Spots
