Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • work collaboratively to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • possess strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • support hotel events and groups
  • demonstrate understanding of relevant technology and maintain phone etiquette
  • keep all workspaces clean and well organized
  • assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • maintain hospitality while cleaning by greeting guests with a smile and by name
  • complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • provide accurate and timely handover reports for shifts
  • wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
  • communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • exhibit a can-do attitude to meet business and guest needs
  • collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • complete all hotel audit-related reports by designated times
  • ensure overnight security protocols are followed, including locking exterior entrances and handling late arrivals
  • receive and note all incoming mail per shift checklist
