Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in a public contact role
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work part-time morning or evening shifts
- Willingness to comply with attendance policies
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of hotel services and local attractions
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in a public contact position
- Hotel experience preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests and associates
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc
Job Duties
- Answer questions regarding or making reservations for dining, entertainment, sports events, recreation, tours, health and beauty, childcare, transportation, cultural activities, shopping, and other services
- Provide directions to hotel facilities or events
- Notify/assist guests of receipt of facsimiles, mail, messages, and packages
- Maintain current information and materials regarding hotel, services, and attractions
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
- Perform any other job duties as assigned
